Cabinets throughout have started to go in. Kitchen cabinets are the frameless variety veneered with an African Mahogany. There were done locally.

MAIN FLOOR CEILING
Finished up the main floor living room ceiling this weekend. Edge trim and second coat of lacquer complete. I am hoping the birch light/dark effect will coordinate with the variegated bamboo flooring to be installed next month.

SIDING DETAILS
Siding started to go on this week. Mixtutre of Hardie-Plank (Smooth 8" Lap) and Hardie-Panel (Smooth). Plank installation is straightforward, but working some details on the panel installation. Extruded aluminum trims (Z and H profile from Fry Reglet) will border all the panels which will be cut down to 4'x4' nominally. Contractor wants to use washers with screws while we prefer just using a wafer head screw - pics show washers.

WINDOW TRIM / INTERIOR DOORS
Windows are getting trimmed out and interior doors hung. Main floor doors are solid core with VG Doug Fir veneer and lower level have birch veneer.
